Visit by the Danish Chief of Defence, General Helsø

On June 17^th, the Standby High Readiness Brigade had the honour to receive the visit of the departing Chief of Defence Denmark, General Hans Jesper Helsø.

After an introduction to the PLANELM Senior National Representatives, the visit continued with a working lunch in the Garrison Officer’s Mess. During the lunch many topics concerning the past, present and especially the future of SHIRBRIG were discussed and elaborated on.

Following the lunch, General Hans Jesper Helsø and Brigade General F. Kochanowski thanked each other, on behalf of their organisations, for the fine cooperation during the last 2 years and exchanged fare-well gifts.

After the walk back to the HQ building General Hans Jesper Helsø, for the last time in his role as Chief of Defence Denmark, said goodbye to all present SHIRBRIG staff officers and left for Copenhagen.
