Memorial Plaque for SHIRBRIG

When SHIRBRIG closed at the end of 2009 there was a request from former members of the SHIRBRIG family for some sort of memorial sign or similar on or close to the former headquarter in building 3 on Hoevelte Barracks in Denmark.

This request or wish corresponded very well with the wish from the Steering Committee to hand over all signs, flags etc. to Danish museums, and the original SHIRBRIG sign from building 3 was on its way to the United Nations Museum in South Jutland.

A memorial plaque was quickly designed as a laser engraved aluminim sign that from the beginning of 2010 replaces the old brass sign on building 3.
