Participants in AMISOM Planning Team visits SHIRBRIG

On Tuesday 15 January 2008, in the new conference room established in building 22, the two Italian officers who have represented SHIRBRIG in the Strategic Planning and management Unit established in Addis Ababa by the Peace Support Operations Division of the African Union Peace and Security directorate, presented their briefings.

After a dinner hosted at the Admiral Hotel the previous night, the intense working day in Denmark started at 08.30 with an office call with COMSHIRBRIG, Brigade General Kochanowski.

After the two comprehensive briefings by Commander Giomi and Lieutenant Colonel Ceccorulli, the official photo was taken in front of building 3 of the Høvelte Kaserne, home of the Stand By High Readiness Brigade.

After an office call with Colonel Tatschl, the Chief of Staff of the Stand By High Readiness Brigade, the finance settlement was conducted together with SHIRBRIG Finance Controller Chief Warrant Officer H.H. Larsen.

This ended the visit of the two Italian officers assigned to SHIRBRIG to support the Strategic Planning and management Unit of the African Union Peace and Security Directorate.
